Teachers’ love goes the distance

 

Almost 20 years ago, Tim and Michele Reeves met as students at Halls High School.

Today, the two are teachers in the same school system in which they met two decades before.

“Michele is the chorus teacher for Gresham Middle School’s 6th, 7th and 8th grades, and Tim teaches U.S. government and AP European history at the couple’s old high school.

“It was kind of strange – some days – when I first got back to Halls and ran into now colleagues who were teachers when Michele and I were dating,” Tim said. “It’s a different perspective, that’s for sure.”

“Tim was a senior, and Michele was a freshman when they were in band together and began dating in 1992.
